PLAINFIELD - The funeral service for Roberta Jean Nolan, of Bean Road, was held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Macedonia Baptist Church, in Plainfield. She died March 31, 2014 at the Vermont Respite House in Williston.
The Guest Book is expired.
The Rev. Bob Butler, pastor of the church, presided and led the congregation in the hymns, "How Great Thou Art," "In the Garden" and "Amazing Grace." A prerecorded selection, "Beyond the Sunset," was also played by members of Sherri's Jubilee.
Words of remembrance were offered by her three daughters. Elizabeth DeNauw offered reflections on her mother's life, Penny Nolan read the "Indian Prayer" and Holly Nolan read the poem "Her Journey Just Began."
Luncheon and a time for reflections followed in the church hall.
Interment will take place in the Plain-Mont Cemetery at a later date.
