MONTGOMERY, Mass. - Earl J. "Chuck" Cruickshank Jr., 63, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014.

He was born in Barre, Vermont, to the late Margaret (McGoff) and Earl J. Cruickshank Sr. and attended Barre schools. Chuck was a Class A PGA professional working at Chicopee, Worcester and Blandford (Massachusetts) country clubs.
He was also a member of the Bellows Falls, Vermont, Lodge of Elks and was an avid hunter, bow and rifle, skier and golfer.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ginger F. (Zabecki) Cruickshank, of Montgomery, Massachusetts, and his loving children: Adam and his wife, Camila, of Sao Paulo, Brazil; Jessica Brueshaber and her husband, Dave, of Chicopee, Massachusetts; and Seth Cruickshank, of Montgomery, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his brother Jim Cruickshank and his wife, Pam, of Ludlow, Vermont, and Peg Alexy and her husband, Fred, of Cleverdale, New York, as well as his beloved granddog, Anita.
A celebration of Chuck's life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at his home from noon to 4 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Firtion Adams Funeral Services, 76 Broad St., Westfield, MA 01085.
