MONTPELIER - Keith Andrew DeVaughn suddenly passed away at his home on Sept. 14, 2011, in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Keith was born Nov. 26, 1960, in New York City. In 1969, he moved to Montpelier, and attended St. Michael's and Montpelier High School.

Keith graduated from Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute, pursuing a degree in culinary arts. He worked as a chef in Maine, Virginia and most recently in West Palm Beach.

Keith is survived by his mother, Phyllis Giordano, of Moretown; brother and sisters Suzanne Michaels and husband Clay, of Virginia, William DeVaughn and wife Jean, of Montpelier, Rebecca DeVaughn, of Virginia, and Kristen Randall and husband Steven, of New Hampshire; and nephews, James Demetrops and partner Charlene, of Colorado, and Erik French and wife Kelly, of Montpelier.

He was predeceased by father William DeVaughn and brother and sister Peter DeVaughn and Stacey DeVaughn.

Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery.
