NEWNAN, Ga. - Mr. Roy R. MacLeod, age 59, of Newnan, went home to be with our Lord on Dec. 22, 2012, at the home of his mother, Cassie T. MacLeod, of Toccoa.

Born in Barre, Vt., on Sept. 27, 1953, he was the son of Cassie T. MacLeod and the late Leslie J. MacLeod.

A member of the Presbyterian faith, he was raised in Graniteville, Vt., and was a graduate of the class of 1971 from Spaulding High School, Barre, Vt. He served four years as a medical technician in the Air Force and a career path for the past 35 years in sales.

Survivors include his mother, Cassie T. MacLeod, of Toccoa; wife, Christine Schrade MacLeod; stepchildren Nicole, Brian and Tina; son from a previous marriage, Jeremy (and Cynthia) MacLeod; granddaughter, Madison; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Don Ennis, of Graniteville, Vt., Margaret and Allen Perrin, of Toccoa, Carolyn and Tino Broggini of South Barre, Vt.; brother and sister-in-law, John and Susan MacLeod, of Graniteville, Vt.; mother-in-law, Patricia Schrade, of Cumming; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kim and John Birch, of Cumming, and Robert and Allison Schrade, of Alpharetta; seven nephews; two nieces; as well as many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Graniteville, Vt.
