Paul Martinez

Paul Martinez, 25, of Longmont, died February 14, at Longmont United Hospital. Paul was born on April 24, 1988 in Longmont, to Paul Martinez and Blanca Nunez. Raised in Longmont he attended school here, graduating from Old Columbine High School. Paul was a talented artist. His artistic ability was highlighted with murals in the area. He was a talented DJ, being sought to play at parties and had an opportunity to play in a couple of Clubs due to his accomplishments. A thoughtful and loving young man, he was friends to many growing up. His smile would light up a room. He was a blessing to anyone that knew him. His warmth and love will be greatly missed by those who loved him. He was a true hero fighting until the end and always smiling through his diversities. Preceding him in death are his grandparents Juan Nunez and Ruthie Romero. Paul is survived by his mother Blanca Nunez of Longmont; his father and mother Paul (Fiorella) Martinez of Longmont; sisters Monique Nunez of Longmont; Miranda (Damian Cran) Martinez of Loveland; Sierra Martinez and Zamira Martinez; a brother Andrez Nunez all of Longmont; grandparents Johnnie (Hope) Martinez, Manuela Nunez and Blanca Rivero all of Longmont and a niece Madison Cran. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
