Beatrice Neibert Obituary
Beatrice Graves Neibert passed away December 11, 2012 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 89. She was born October 22, 1923 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Carl and Elsie (Jones) Doane. She grew up and attended school in Knoxville. On April 9, 1945 Bea married Clinton S. Graves in Columbus, GA he preceded her in death on March 2, 1988; she married her second husband Robert V. Neibert on September 4, 1992 in Longmont, CO and he preceded her in death on July 3, 2001. From 1945 to 1969 she and Clinton farmed near Woodworth, ND. Together they moved to the Longmont area in 1971 from Grand Junction, CO. Bea worked as a cashier for the Corner Pantry Market from the mid 1970's to the mid 1990's. Bea was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Longmont. She also belonged to several organizations including the Women of the Moose, Elks Lodge in Longmont; and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit #32. She was active in the Longmont Senior Center, and especially enjoyed the Thursday Night dances having served on the dance committee in the past. Bea enjoyed cross stich work, flower gardening, cooking and baking, and playing cards and games with her friends. She was a real people person. Bea was preceded in death by her husband's Clinton Graves and Robert Neibert; her parents; two brothers John and Dan Doane; and one sister Mary Lee Headrick. She is survived by her son James Graves of Longmont, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends Jackie and Roger Clark. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm Friday December 14, 2012 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with family present to greet friends. Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Saturday December 15, 2012 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Cremation will follow the services at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
