Obituary Condolences Flowers

Charlotte Ann-Grace Derrera Six passed away on February 28, 2014, Longmont, CO. She was born on November 16, 1940 to Samuel and Isadora (Tafoya) Derrera in Denver. She considered herself to be known as and enjoyed a lot of laughs using the names Charlotte Ann-Grace Isadora Tafoya Derrera Young Six. She was raised by her grandparents, Frank and Fidelia Martinez in Longmont, CO where many of the younger family members considered her to be an Aunt. In 1959, she graduated from Longmont High School and was of the Catholic faith. In 1968, she married Gary Six in Columbus Ohio, they later moved to Longmont. She worked in Manufacturing for many years. Charlotte was an avid football fan, especially for the Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns. She enjoyed singing and dancing and playing bingo. She loved her family very much. Charlotte is survived by her sons: Deano (Chrissondra) Six of Great Bend, PA, Alex (Jill) Six of Mangolia, OH; grandchildren: Jennifer, Scott, Kadie, Tyler, Brandon, Alexandria, Olivia, Michael and Michelle; siblings: Gloria Wallen of Columbus OH, Madeline Stephens of Brighton CO, Carol Iglesias of Longmont, Sam (Frances) Derrera of Largo, FL, Tobias Derrera Morales of Denver, Sandy Aragon of Colorado Springs, John (Angie) Lopez of Denver, Dave Lopez of Golden and Tony Lopez of Denver; Aunt, Pat (Luis) Lopez of Longmont; Sister-in-law, Diana (Jim) Reneau of Orange Park, FL as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husband, son Donnie Six and siblings: Jerry "Peanuts" Derrera, Larry "Punkins" Derrera and Cynthia Derrera. A Visitation will be held from 4-6pm with a Rosary at 6pm on Wed. March 05, 2014 at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00am Thurs. March 06, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carroll-Lewellen Funeral & Cremation Services. Contributions may be made in her name to any Catholic church.
