Phyllis Fern Bauer passed away on June 7, 2014 at The Bridge Life Care Center in Longmont, CO at age 86. Phyllis was born to Ivan and Myrtle Paull on July 8, 1928 in Genoa, Colorado. As a Colorado Native she lived near the Front Range most of her life moving to the Longmont area in 1958 with Herb and their children. After all of her children were of school age Phyllis went to Cosmetology school to begin her career in making people feel beautiful. She was very successful and through her career she owned and operated The Beauty Palace and Shamrock Beauty Salon until she retired in 1990 to spend more time with her family and grandchildren. Phyllis enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, taking walks, sewing, crossword puzzles and greeting at LifeBridge Christian Church. Nothing put a bigger smile on her face than spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Although Phyllis will be missed greatly by many people, she left an impression of love on every heart she touched.
