Francisco Albillar Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 8, 2011.
On August 5, 2011, our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend went to sleep in the loving arms of his Lord. He will wake up at home with a shout of joy and jubilation.

Frank was born on December 2, 1941 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of Teofilo and Pomposa (Serrano) Albillar. He graduated from high school and spent a year studying business in junior college. Frank honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was married to Margaret Ann Saldate.

Frank began his career in California as a truck driver for 10 years with A. M. Lewis. He was also a Teamster and worked for TemTex Travel Trailer as a Quality Control Officer. His job had him travel to many parts of the United States and finally to Colorado to the job that he loved best - a case worker with EFFA/ OUR Center with the Migrant Outreach Program. He moved to Longmont from Banning, California in 1989.

He was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church and was a Cursillista. All of Frank's hobbies and interests centered on his grandchildren. During the summers, he took them camping and to the lake to go rafting and swimming. Frank also joined the Longmont Athletic Club so that his grandchildren would have a place to swim during the winter.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ernesto, John, and Jesse Albillar.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Ann Albillar of Longmont; a son, Frank S. Albillar, Jr.; three daughters, Chantel A. Mauck (Ron), Sherry Kini, and Pat Waring (Jim); a brother, David Albillar of Ventura, California; his grandchildren, Vanessa Sanchez (Isaac), Frank S. Albillar III (Nicole), Zeik Albillar, (Sol)Felicia Albillar, Shanoah Albillar, Maura Albillar, J.J. Albillar, Reeb Mauck, Roncisco Mauck, Corey Waring (Amber), Austin Waring, and Richard Moreno and Justin Kini and his great-grandchildren Isaiah and Elias Sanchez, Hailey and Silas Albillar, Zeik Albillar, Jr., Abel Silva Albillar, Johnson Waring, Creighton Waring, and Zoey Mae Paxton. Frank is further survived by his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Maida Vasquez, Bonnie Vasquez (Camerino), Dora Reyes (Alan), Robert Torres, Ray Torres (Sylvia), Tony Nerida (Virginia), David Torres (Rhinda), Johnny Murillo (Patsy), Tony Murillo (Marylou), numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

He was a gentle, loving and kind man who saw good in everyone. He was not above bending the rules to help clients or friends alike. "De Colores"
