Dear Fran, Tia and family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Miles' death. What a wonderful, kind and generous man he was and such a strong supporter of education and young people through his involvement on the Board of the Camosun College Foundation. I particularly remember having a flat tire once shortly after arriving in Victoria and decided to go to Tires Unlimited to get a new one. He didn't have the right one but lent me one until he could get the right one and didn't want any payment until the proper one was installed! So lovely to be trusted like that and I know that's how he lived in the world. He will be missed. Thinking of you and sending sympathy

"Hello Fran , Tia & Sally & Families;
Miles was one of the finest human beings I have met. He gave me my first job when i arrived in Victoria in 1981.
For me your entire family is one of the finest, -- with the most contagious "SMILES". My Condolences,

I am so sorry for your loss. Miles was a wonderful man. I throughly enjoyed dealing with him for many years from the Shell station to Tires Unlimited. I still remember as a young parts driver backing into him as he was rushing to serve a customer! Twas a slight bump and he just kept going! Loved his smile and laugh. My heart goes out to you all.

I have many memories of Miles when growing up in Gordon Head with my brother Bryan. They were best of friends during high school and I know have seen each other over the years. I appreciated his visit to my mother when our father, Harry died. His great smile and teasing manner are what I will hold in my heart. Sincere condolences to all.

Many goods memories of Miles. I was a kid on Ruby Rd when Miles started working at the Shell Station, owned by Mel Dennstedt. I'm sure us girls, myself ,Marilyn Dennstedt and others got under foot more times than enough. Miles was always a gentleman in all aspects, especially putting up with us. So sorry for the family's loss.
