ANDERSON, Agnes Elizabeth
Agnes died peacefully on January 2, 2013 in Victoria, BC. Born in Ayr, Scotland on July 21, 1922, Agnes came to Canada with her family when she was eight years old, living most of her life in Victoria. She received her early education here and graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1943, after attending classes at Craigdarroch Castle where she met her husband, Jack. She was known to be an excellent seamstress, an avid gardener and a lover of classical music. She enjoyed entertaining and developed many lasting friendships throughout the years. Family time at the cottage at Shawnigan Lake was one of her greatest pleasures.
