WOODLEY, Alice It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Alice on December 23, 2012. Born in Burnley, England on November 1, 1915 and immigrated to Canada in 1946. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 2000. She leaves to remember her five children, Donna (Bud) Diana, Carol (Richard), Jack ( Kathleen) and Ken (Joanne); she also leaves her six grandchildren, Angie, Wanita, John, Lisa and Amy and Emily, and her seven great-grandchildren, Jamie, Daniel, Rachael, Justis, Chris (Katie), Julie and Michael. She had many hobbies in her later years but her favorite activity was caring for her foster cat Rosie who she truly missed when she moved into Luther Court in September of 2011. She loved the garden and the special pets days when she got to nurse the cat. She was a lovely lady and had a wonderful smile. Special thanks to the caring staff at Luther Court. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Luther Court Society. A celebration of life will be held at Luther Court, 1525 Cedar Hill Cross Rd. on January 5th, 2013 at 2PM.
