Euphemia May (Fay) BAIN

BAIN, Euphemia May (Fay) January 9, 1922 - March 24, 2013 Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Fay moved in her late teens to Victoria, where she met her husband Rod. They brought up four girls in the large old estate in Gordon Head before moving to Central Saanich. Rod predeceased Fay in 1995 and they are survived by Lynn (Richard), Diane (Carl), Pam (Randy), and Bonnie (Graham), grandchildren Ryan, Celeste, Brooke, Miranda, Eric, Lacie, Wade, Marcus, Megan, Julia and great-grandchildren, Evan, Tallon, Rowan and Brennan. Fay was an adventurous, generous and loyal woman who enjoyed driving, helping friends, gardening, bridge and bowling. Her 35 years of service as a volunteer at Saanich Peninsula Hospital gave her great satisfaction. There will not be a funeral, but a celebration of life at a later date. Donations in Fay's name to Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you goes to the caring staff there as well as at Norgarden for their support and kindness.
