Harold Ferdinand SINDEN

SINDEN, Harold Ferdinand January 3, 1927 - November 21, 2012 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, Harold. Born in Strongfield, Saskatchewan, he was the youngest of four, to Mack Ernest and Maggie Bell Sinden. Harold was predeceased by his wife, Norma Iona Sinden (1987); great grandson, Leslie Stewart (2008); his second wife, Alice Christine Sinden (2011). Harold is survived by his son, Thomas (Sandy) Sinden; daughters, Barbara Sinden and Pat (Eric) Ponsford; his 4 grandchildren, Shelley Ponsford, Carol (Mike) Stewart, Bryan (Lia) Young, Robyn Young and his 5 great grandchildren, Brittney (Daniel) Fouracres, Emily and Anora Stewart, Alicia and Maddison March-Ponsford and his great-great granddaughter, Leighton Fouracres. Papa, thank you for always being there. Harold joined the Masons in 1951, then became a member of the Eastern Star in 1994. Harold will always be remembered as a caring, generous man with strong family ethics. He will be missed so very much by his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on November 28, 2012 at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive. Tea to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners.
