She was predeceased by her sisters, Ruth Brault and Georina MacKenzie. She worked for Crease & Co. for many years, was a member of the Gorge Vale Golf Club for 25 years and then moved to Cedar Hill Golf Club for a few more years. The family would like to thank Dr. Critchley for all his help and the staff at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, they made her more comfortable. We can only hope to be as spunky as she at any age, and to be able to match her skills at poker. Laura was a great lady, so interesting to talk to, so cheerful and always with an encouraging word.

Such a nice lady who played Texas Holdem at the Legion and really knew her cards. So much spunk and graciousness. She will be missed by her family and friends.

You were always so friendly to me, greeting me with a smile every time. It was great getting to know you over the years and I will miss our conversations we had before poker started. You were a terrific lady and one heck of a poker player! I will miss you tremendously.
