Melvin Neil MCCULLOCH

May 11/1930-Feb 19/2013

(Supt R.C.M.P. Ret.)

Mel was born in Wawanesa Manitoba on May 11, 1930. He quietly passed on February 19 at the age of 82, after a long illness with bone cancer. He served 35 years in the RCMP and retired as superintendant. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cynthia of 58 years; brothers Allen & Cecil & families; his children Lori/Ken, Boyd & Tami; grandchildren Stephanie, Shane, Kelsey, Kendra, Wade, Marcus, Megan, Tyson, Marcos & Miguel and great grandchildren Kenneth & Alexis. Thanks to Mel's cribbage friends from around the world. A special thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital as well as Hospice and Beacon Services workers for their support and kindness. At Mel's request there will not be a public funeral but a family service at a later date.
