The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their mother Wilma Tull. Wilma grew up in a small farming town of Lavinia, Manitoba. She enlisted in the army during World War II and was very proud to have served overseas. Mum was stationed in Shilo, Manitoba and her softball team won the Canadian Championship with her as catcher. While in Shilo, Mum met a handsome motorcycle dispatch rider named Arthur Tull and they married upon their military discharge. They settled in the Beaver Creek area of Port Alberni. Mum loved sports, especially hockey and she spent hundreds of hours at the arena watching her son and grandsons and also watching her granddaughter figure skate. When the Bulldogs were relocated to Port Alberni, Mum and Dad were the first people to purchase season tickets and they were devoted fans to the Dogs.

Wilma was predeceased by her husband Art and her oldest sister Aleta Frost. She is survived by her two daughters Evelyn (John) Mee and Irene (Harold) Austin and her son Ellis (Shelley), four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two sisters Muriel Williams and Dolores Miller.

Evelyn, Irene and Ellis would like to thank all the amazing staff at Fir Park Village. You cared for, understood and loved Mum for the unique and wonderful woman that she was. Thank you also to Doctor J.P. Meyer for your care and thoughtfulness to Mum. You were always there when needed, to the Veteran's Affairs, you met all Mum's needs and she was proud to have your support.

A private family service was held in the Field of Honour at Greenwood Cemetery. Mum is now with Dad. Stories and condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting: www.chapelofmemories.ca.
