BROWN, Alice (nee McIntosh) September 4, 1926 (Winnipeg) December 2, 2012 (Victoria) Our dear mother, Alice Brown, died with her five children and families at her side. Her greatest comfort came from knowing her family is well. She was very proud of her children and her seven grandchildren. She leaves us all wishing that we had much more time with her. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to us all. She is survived by her children, Jane Ketcham (John); Jim Titerle (Pamela), Mary Green (Sheldon), Robert Titerle (Kandice) and Andrew Brown (Katsuko) and grandchildren, Mark, Paul, Jen, Alli, Spencer, Alana and Peter. Mother created beauty wherever she lived, in her homes and gardens. She was passionate about gardening and reading, and beautiful music was her constant companion. She often expressed her gratitude for the privilege of living independently and well in a beautiful part of the world. Our mother truly touched those she met in life with her grace, respect, intelligence, and warmth. We look forward to sharing a celebration of Alice's life with you Sunday, December 30th, 2012 from 2-4 pm in Victoria. If you wish to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org"> email@example.com and we will send you more details. Flowers are gratefully declined. Mom would rather that you consider giving to a charity of your choice.
