CAMERON, Arthur Gordon May 31, 1948 – December 29, 2012 Arthur was born in Lillooet, BC, the oldest of four to A. Gordon Cameron and Irene Gladys Cameron (nee Davis). He graduated in Lillooet, went on to UBC then made his career with BC Hydro. Arthur was like a fine diamond; there were so many facets to his strong, yet gentle personality. He was a brilliant man who thrived on lively conversations and excelled in all aspects of the computer. He was a gifted photographer who enjoyed capturing sealife, wildlife and beautiful flowers at his retreat on Thetis Island. He was a mischievous man with satirical wit and he was a kind man who was devoted to the cats and dogs in his life. Arthur touched many through the years and is gone from us far too soon. Our lives are diminished by his unexpected passing. He is survived by his mother, Irene (Brian); his sisters Janice (John, Gary), Kathryn (Rock, Kyla, Ely), Theresa and his loving partner Sandy Alexandre. A gathering to celebrate Arthur's life will be held on Thetis Island in the spring, date and time to be announced. To honor Arthur, donations to the SPCA would be a fitting tribute. Condolences may be shared online at www.sandsduncan.ca
