Chuck was sports director and I was a DJ at CKDA, Victoria in the mid-60's. Chuck voiced play-by-play for the Victoria Cougars of the WHL and I worked the technical end in the studio during the games. We were a good team but he was the star. He enjoyed big cigars and drove a Ford convertible. He loved Wendy and his three little kids. I have very fond memories of our young broadcast days together.

I am sorry to hear of Chucks passing. He was someone I met on the job at C-FAX many years ago. Always had a smile and made my job as receptionist fun. We will miss him but never forget him

My condolences to his extended family and especially his children (Cathy, John and Sherry) on Chuck's passing; a great friend and media contemporary of our father back in the 1960's/70's, Chuck had a quiet good sense of humor and a vast knowledge of and appreciation for Canadian military bands and music.

John, Cathy & Sherry, I am saddened to hear of your dad's passing and my heart goes out to all of you. Memories of your dad are vivid from my childhood. His laugh, his love of a party, that hair! He was always a kind man to me and a great friend to dad. I know they are together once again toasting the good old days at C-FAX. Wishing you all peace in your memories. With much love

Didn't know him personally but I remember listening to Chuck Mudrak as a kid listening to CFAX in the 1970's. First sports reporter I can remember. I was a fan.
