CAMPBELL, David Morrison November 2, 1925 April 18, 2012 Born in Kilsyth, Scotland, cherished husband of 57 years to Sally Campbell, loving father to Fiona Weber (Richard), James Alexander (deceased); grandfather to Ian Alexander Campbell Weber. David served his apprenticeship with John Brown and Company, Clydebank Engineering & Shipbuilding Works in Glasgow and later served in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. During this experience he observed the dramatic day that Israel became a nation, the memory was vivid. His career included many years deep sea. In all, he spent more than forty years in the marine industries always as engineer. He was known for his skills, integrity, honesty, kindness and reticence. He retired at Marine Design Associates as a marine surveyor. He had a wry sense of humor and was known as "a true Scot ". He loved the poetry of Robert Burns. Many thanks to Dr. Doran Ksienski, BC Cancer Agency, Emergency of RJH, (Irene) and Victoria Hospice (Bernice) for their help and care. Cremation. No service at his request.
