Born in Toronto, Ontario, on February 11, 1931. Doug joined Bell Canada in 1949. In the early years of his profession, he worked in Canada's high arctic on the DEW Line. Together with Marg, he also enjoyed travelling through numerous countries in Europe and South America. Many thanks to the SPH Nursing Staff and friends for your support... (P.S. You are all AWESOME!). He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends and by his loyal pet, his Cairn Terrier "Skye".
