Florence Chapman Obituary
With heavy hearts the family of Florence Mary Chapman announce her peaceful passing on June 15, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. G. William (Bill) Chapman, parents John and Mary Grassick and sister Marge Blackert of Nanaimo, BC. Survived by son Bill, daughter-in-law Jeannette, and her pride and joy, grandchildren Andrew, Elizabeth and Will of Calgary, AB.
Mom was an avid and competitive golfer for many years, a member of the Royal Colwood Golf Club. She also enjoyed duplicate bridge as a social member of the Victoria Golf Club. Travel was an important part of her life having been on many interesting trips to foreign countries, usually accompanied by friends or family.
A special and sincere thank you to Gail Sarginson for her friendship, compassion and devotion to helping Florence. Also Dr. Russell Grimwood for his excellent professional care.
A celebration of life will take place in Victoria in spring 2018.
