Gordon Mills Obituary
MILLS, Gordon Lindsay It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, Gordon Lindsay Mills, aged 83, on August 2, 2011. Born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan on August 3, 1927 to Florence and David Mills. He will be forever missed by his wife of 63 years, Madeline, sons and daughters Yvonne (Rick), Joan (Peter), Sue (Dave), Dave (Ida), Doug (Susan), Ray (Ellie), Don (Lori), Marilyn (Kevin), Trevor (Tanya), several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thank you to the care givers and doctors at the Cardio Vascular Unit of the Royal Jubilee Hospital. A small celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 6 at 1:00 pm at the home of Ida and Dave, 1573 Granada Crescent for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to CVU at Jubilee Hospital are appreciated. 633428

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Uncle Gordon and my thoughts & prayers go out to Aunt Madge & family. Apart from a childhood visit, I met Uncle Gordon only once after that, and that was as Uncle Allan's funeral. I regret not having the opportunity to visit more often. Dear Auntie Madge and Family, Blessings to each of you in your loss with the death of Uncle Gordie. We haven't seen you folk in a long time but we are still family and we pray that you will be strengthened and comforted by each other and sweet remembrances of pleasant times together.
