Grant Walter Marshall, born Regina, Sask. December 1943 passed away July 6, 2018, at home in the loving arms of his wife and best friend of over 30 years, Sheila. He was taken far too soon after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his four loving children and six grandchildren; Laurie (Chris), Greg, his children Gage and Reese, Allison (Dean) their three children, Mikayla, Jayda and Ella, Karla (Lance) and daughter Paige. He is also survived by his sister Ronda, brother Bill (Lee) and nieces and nephews.

Grant loved life, had a wonderful passion for curling, and enjoyed many friendships with his buddies. He and Sheila had great camping adventures. They loved each other's company and in his own words,"just being together", doing many of the things they loved. His friends describe him as having a kind and wonderful nature; a man who was full of warmth, honesty and integrity and had the ability to make anyone laugh out loud.

In the heartfelt words of his granddaughters: "We were blessed to have you in our lives; you have left us with unforgettable memories; we loved laughing and joking with you; long talks about life; special lunches; your special ability to put a smile on our face when we were down. Our number one fan. Thank you for taking care of everyone. Heaven has gained an angel." Grant's wishes were for no service but for you to lift a glass and toast him in your own way. We are profoundly grateful for the medical care he received. For those who wish, a donation to the BC Cancer Foundation in his honour would be a nice tribute.
