BEMISTER, Herbert George "Buss" January 7, 1929 - July 23, 2013 Buss passed peacefully away at the age of 84 to be reunited with his loving wife Freda who passed on June 6, 2013. Buss will be lovingly remembered by his son Garry (Diane), daughter Susie (Bill) Constable and son Jamie (Sandy), all his grand- and great-grandchildren and twin sister Mary Middleton. Predeceased by his wife Freda, daughter Linda (Bob) Beason, his parents Norman and Maryann, his brother Jack (Marg) Bemister and sister Norma Bemister. Buss served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1954 to 1974, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer First Class. He was a grocery store owner in Beaver Bank, N.S. and in Saanichton, B.C. A longtime resident of Langford, Buss volunteered as a firefighter and was involved for many years in Triangle Little League. We would like to thank the caring staffs of Oak Bay Lodge and Heritage Woods at Priory. There will be a small family gathering to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to dementia research.
