WAGG, Herta Ruth (nee Patzer) January 23, 1914 – January 23, 2013 (on her 99th birthday) A quiet gentle lady, she was born in Yorkton, Sask., one of seven children with her only living sibling being Naomi (Amy) Baumber of Regina Sask. She also leaves her loving husband of 45 years, George, daughter Barbara Hannem (Dallas), son Don Munroe and special friend Diane Nishimura; special sisters-in-laws Linda and Shirley Patzer, Isabel Rippon, Faye Thomson (John); 2 grandchildren, Dale Hannem (Chris), Donna Hannem; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was an avid sports lover and gardener, participating for years in bowling and golf. She will be sorrowfully missed as a wife, mother and friend. A service will be held at the First Memorial Funeral Home, 4725 Falaise Drive on Wed. Jan. 30, 2013 at 2 pm, followed by fellowship and refreshments in the reception area. No flowers by request but donations may be made, if desired, to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation at 2166 Mt Newton Crossroads, Victoria V8M 2B2.
