Very sad to learn of the loss of this wonderful man. He befriended me (and I'm sure so many others) after the many years I spent walking by on my way to work through bastion square, always with a friendly smile and a "good morning sweetheart". He always made mornings a little brighter and I will forever miss that. I can still hear those words clear as day everytime I walk through. He was always the first person to set up every morning and the last to leave, and always had a contagious smile and greeting for everyone who walked by. He will be so missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to cross his path!

You were a special friend for most of my life, starting with a box of Rogers Chocolates when I met you for the first time. The world is a less happy and loving place without you. Rest in peace and keep 'em laughing up there!

I'm happy to say that we met you both several years ago at a coffee gathering in Victoria BC, after which we purchased all of your books right out of the back of your car!
You were gracious enough to sign them all, each with a unique message.
Thanks for the books and the unforgettable memories of meeting you both!
Sincerely, Roberta & Ken Wilson
