Kathryn Gaudry Obituary

(nee Senez)

Oct 22, 1955 - May 4, 2017

Well everyone, I did it. I finally beat the cancer. Too bad I had to die to do it.

I passed in the comfort of and with the eternal love of my beloved husband Laurie Taylor, my sons Matthew (Carissa), Christopher (Meghan, grandkids Owen 5, Lia 2.) My mom Simone Senez left us 10 years ago, and I have missed her every day. I leave my dad Roland, brother Richard, sisters Elisabeth Westlake, Anne Lachowicz, (Richard), nieces & nephews and cousins.

I've had a wonderful life with the amazing good fortune to have had so many deep and enriching friendships. If my life had to be short, I'm so glad it was filled with all of you. Thank you forever to Bonnie Campbell, Mona Monnin, Janis Connors, Jo Campbell, Marian Anderson, Ellen Leibl, Irene Groot-Koerkamp, Cathy Miller, Barb Kryger, Laurie Allen, Leona Senez, Rick Friesen, Mitch Zajac, Brenda & Jean LaRose, Diana Lomax, Chris Campbell, Mandy Farmer, D'Arcy & Mike Hipwell, Doug Smith & Peggy Mylrea and so many more. I love you all so much.

At my request, there will be no service. Instead, just do what you would do with me, or plant a flower, or plant a tree. Or give to bccancerfoundation.com

Kathy, you were an incredible person and we loved every minute we ever had with you. You had the best sense of humour and the laughs we shared can't be counted. We miss you dearly but we are comforted by knowing you are at peace and probably having a great time in the spirit world. We will meet again, that we know. Brenda and Jean.xoxo

Kathy was truly one of a kind!

I worked for her, but she always made me feel we were working together and made sure I was part of her management team.

Matthew and Christopher, she proudly spoke of you often. She shared many pictures with me and never have I seen someone so excited to become a grandmother.

Love to her family and close friends.

You have left me with so many wonderful memories. Whenever I would run into you, however short our meeting, however long our absence, I would leave smiling and my heart would be filled with joy. You are a wonderful friend and one day, you & I & your mom will ride on the winds together. Until then..
Love you
Joanne
