NELSON, Ken July 28, 1927 - November 2, 2012 It is with deep sadness we announce his sudden death. He is predeceased by Nonie, his wife of 60 years, and daughters Debbie and Chris. He is survived by daughter Emily, son Bob (Marg), 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Joanne (John) and nieces and nephews. He served in the Navy for 21 years and was a valuable member of the Naden band. His musical talent brought him to open Nelson's Music which provided product and services to musicians of all ages. He will be lovingly remembered by all the lives he touched and helped during his time as bishop of his church. His deep love and connection to his faith, saw him through many good times and bad but always to a place of peace. He will never be forgotten for his humour, laughter and love. You always knew when he came into a room and you missed him when he left. That's how we feel now that he's left the 'room' of our lives. We are comforted knowing that he's dancing again with Mom, the love of his life. You are in our hearts forever. A service will be held at 1pm on Thursday Nov. 8th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Centre, 701 Mann Ave.
The Guest Book is expired.
