January 7, 1955 - November 11, 2012

Peacefully in his sleep after a battle with cancer. Kurt recently retired after 28 years with the Edmonton Fire Dept. He loved to travel, driving his Harley or truck & camper through the mountains. Kurt was always ready to lend a helping hand putting others before himself.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susie; daughters: Sarah (Jason), Kristin & Jennifer; sons Michael (Laura), James & Christopher; 13 grandchildren: Sean, Abbigail, Bailey, Thomas, Brooklyn, Dylan, Thomas (#2), Jack, Callie, Daniel Kurt, Olivia, Eve & baby Alice. Kurt was also survived by many good friends, too many in fact to mention them all.

At Kurt's request there will be no service, his ashes will be scattered in Kauai.
