Ross Doherty

Dear Sara, Anne, David and family,
I am writing on behalf of my sister, Agnes Rimmer and me Ross Doherty.
We are cousins of Marvin, and knew him when we were going to high school in Saskatoon. We did not see very much of each other, as our lives took us in different directions.
Our time was the late 1940's in Saskatoon. Our parents Stewart and Mabel Doherty and family moved to Saskatoon in 1945 and 46. We were welcomed and suppoted by Jake and Hazel and Marvin. Our parents were together most weekends, especially Dad and Jake. Then the children left Saskatoon, Agnes moved to B.C. with her husband and children, Ross joined the air force.
I am enclosing a photo of Marvin, Jake and Hazel, taken on January 1, 1947. The photographer was Les Doherty, our brother, who was a photographer for the Saskatoon Star Phoenix at the time.
We would our condolences and our prayers to you and your children.
