HOSKYN, Mildred Mary (nee Becker) Passed away November 12th, 2012 at Victoria Hospice. Mom was born in Woodrow, Saskatchewan on September 20th, 1925, and moved to Victoria to train as a RN at RJH, graduating in 1947. After meeting and marrying Dad they spent many years together fishing and cruising the local waters. She is predeceased by her parents, Erma and Reinhold, husband Bill, brothers Russell, Kleon, and brother-in-law Charles and granddaughter Jocelyn. Mom is survived by her daughters Maureen & Karen (Ian), sister Dorothy, brothers Elwood (Muriel), Morley (Patricia), and Lowell (Fern), sister-in-law Jean and grandchildren Bevan (Emilie), Corri, and Krysta. Special thanks to Dr. D. Meir, Dr. F. Black; Carol, Jill, Ester, Madeline, and Jamie from Hospice. A Celebration of Mom's life will be held on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 at the Laurel Point Inn from 2:00 - 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Victoria Hospice.
