Mitts also had a passion for gardening, growing the best dahlias, tomatoes and peaches in the area and he enjoyed his many travels with Judy after her retirement. He loved being a 'nanny' to grandson Daniel declaring he could change a diaper as well as anyone and the two formed a special bond in those years before the family moved to Texas. Judy would like to extend her heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff on 2nd floor CDH for all their care and compassion during Mitts many weeks in hospital and a very special thank you to Dr. Gee for his constant care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Mitts' name. Arrangements in the care of Sands Funeral Chapels, Victoria, B.C.
