LEE, Patricia Jean (Dignan) Pat passed away at home on April 29, 2012 in Chemainus, B.C after a lengthy illness. A descendant of a pioneering Brentwood Bay family, she was born in Princeton, B.C. on February 6, 1930. One of 12 children, three siblings remain (Sheila, Tom, Anne). Husband, Bob passed away in 2008. Pat left behind 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She also opened her heart and home to a variety of strays over the years. Seamstress and gardener extraordinaire, Pat also had a great sense of adventure! A two year sailing trip with hubby took her to Hawaii, Tahiti, Fuji, and New Zealand. They also explored B.C., the West Coast of U.S., Arizona, Utah and Mexico. Together with friend and confidant, Mert, she saw California, Holland, Great Britain, Asia and New Zealand. She especially enjoyed a train trip across Canada. Vices included reading, crossword puzzles and casino runs. Kind, loving, generous and non-judgemental Pat is sorely missed by her loved ones.
