WILLIHNGANZ, Robert Carl June 19, 1937 - September 11, 2012 Bob died peacefully on September 11, 2012 from lung cancer. He was greatly loved by daughter Laura and son Erik, as well as all his extended family both related and chosen, including Nancy, Kathleen, Joy, Frank, Etta, Ron and Joan. His childlike spirit was met in grandchildren Sophia and Levi. Born in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, he served in the US Air Force before earning his PhD in Psychology from the University of Texas. He loved working with students and spent most of his career at UVIC Counselling Services. Bob enjoyed many friendships made through his love of music, and was rarely without an accordion.
