Peggy and Ray were members of the Squarecrows Square Dance Club for 35 years and were also members of the Hampton Seniors Centre, James Bay New Horizons old time dancers and Esquimalt Silver Threads. Her primary focus was her family. She was a true matriarch who kept the family together, keeping up on all of her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's lives. Thanks to the staff of The Lodge at Selkirk Place where Peggy resided since February 2009. She really enjoyed the social activities there. Thanks to Dr. Michael Mawdsley for his care over the years. Thanks also to the nurses and aides on 7N at Victoria General Hospital for their special attention during Peggy's final days. A memorial service will be held in late December and will be announced in the Times-Colonist.
