AMOS, S. Jean (nee Johnson) January 26, 1951 - February 18, 2013 Jean slipped peacefully away under the care of the staff at Royal Jubilee Hospital. She is survived by her mother Betty, husband Steve, son Jared and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews in both Winnipeg Manitoba and Victoria. Those that knew Jean, knew her as a loving and caring person. Her inner strength and fortitude allowed her to forge through everything that the military threw at her as the wife of a member of the CF over her 38 year marriage. Jean had a great zest for life and loved being with her many friends and family. It was often difficult for her, being alone and raising her son alone while her husband was deployed overseas. The family would like to thank her best friend and schoolmate Pat Wojcik in Calgary, her sister Faye, friends Mel Perry and Kathy Hansen for their support over the years. We would also like to thank the staff at RJH for their professionalism and consistent dedication under arduous conditions. Our thanks go out to you. A private service will be held at a later date in both Winnipeg and Victoria. Friends are requested to send donations to their favourite charity in lieu of flowers or cards.
