Sylvia MACADAM Obituary

MACADAM, Sylvia June (nee Winter) June passed away on October 15, 2011 at RJH. June was born January 12, 1933 to Thomas and Ivie Winter on a farm outside Richard, Saskatchewan. The family later moved to their permanent home of Victoria in the 1940's. In 1960 June married Bob Macadam (Deceased 2006) and together raised their three sons. June is survived by her three sons and their families: Bob and Gail of Ft. Langley, B.C. and their 7 children (Sarah, Benjamin, Jonathan-Robert, Jeremiah, Abigail, Elizabeth and Zachariah); Bill and Amber of Shawnigan Lake and their 3 children (Joshua, Bethany, and Isaiah); and James and Michelle of Mission. June is also survived by siblings Coral Carter of Victoria, Wanda Punt (Ken) of Naniamo, and Jim Winter of Victoria. Family and friends will be gathering for a time of remembrance at the home of Bill and Amber Macadam at 2181 Wildflower, Shawnigan Lake on Saturday, October 22 between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses and staff at RJH for their extremely compassionate care.
