ARMOUR, William (Bill) Gone to be at rest with the love of his life, Gladys, of more than the 65 years. Beloved father of Kerry, Larry (Amy) and Linda (Jan), grandfather of Stacey, Chris (Angela), Leanne (Mike), Warren (Rebecca), and Michelle (Ian), and great grandfather to Zane. Bill served in WW2 with the Westminster Regiment in England, Italy and Northern Europe. When the war ended he wasted no time getting home to marry Gladys, and getting his papers to be a stationary steam engineer. They spent five years in Port Alice before moving to Victoria where he worked for more than 30 years at the Lucky Lager Brewery (Labatt's). He loved to be involved in his family's life, but missed his wife's companionship since her death two years ago. A special thank you to the Palliative Response Team, VIHA home support, Beacon Home Support, Lise at Queen Alexandra, Doctors Bell and Blair for all their attention. Memorial Tea will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 2:00-4:00PM at First Memorial Funeral Service, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Wild Arc Society, or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
