Well Craig, as you know Claire has made it through this year... many helped, as did you and your feathers :) We know you watch always, still sending love in many ways, helping her in ways she's yet to understand. Thanks for being you and looking after her. You were and are a light along her path for many years. Although it has darkened some this past year without you close, she will see more and more that you are always and forever right by her side.

Keep smiling my faraway friend and keep looking up with laughter and tears of joy for the wonderful life blessed to you and Craig. You were and are lucky that the sunshine of life chose to shine on you. Stay safe and be happy Claire as that is what Craig always wanted.

To My Dear Craig,
27 years ago today you changed my life forever when we married. Thank you so much for loving me so unconditionally.
1 year ago today you went to heaven and I miss you so much. I know you are still around me & leave me feathers when I'm on trips, especially with our grandchildren. And the seagull last October & the blue heron last Sunday did not go unnoticed. You are always in my heart.
Penchie, Lewis, Clarke & Trail still look for you in their own way.
Till we meet again, my love. Claire

Claire and family
I was sorry to hear that Craig passed away. I remember one of your first dates with Craig at the Oak Bay Rec Centre dance. I told you he was a keeper. There would be many years of good times and laughter to follow. I am glad I was there for some of them. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Claire,
So many stars twinkle above, so many angels sit on so many shoulders. How lucky are we, the friends, the family and the loved ones...Yes, we're left behind but how very blessed to be left behind with Angels on our shoulders. Craig is now one of those Angels, never think for one moment he is not near by or on your shoulder, watching and keeping you safe. What a great guy our Craig was...having met him only once, when you came to back visit Ontario. I knew him only vicariously through my friend Claire and many chats on the phone over the many, many years. He was special, he will be missed! Remember he is only a cloud away, flying high and smiling down...so Smile, my Friend, Smile celebrate the joy you shared. He is near always.
Love you Claire, hugs and prayers for your family, his boys, his furry friends and all your close friends who knew him well and loved him dearly.

Wendy
Remember..Have a blue sky day!!
Always!

Craig was so loved by many. He had such a soft, kind manner & a great listener. Right to the end he would greet his visiters with such gladness & never once complained. He always showed appreciation, & we will all miss him very much. We are all so blessed to have been part of his life.

Dear Claire and family:

We were so sorry to read that Craig passed away...I especially remember his great sense of humour and how supportive he was of you when you volunteered so much time to the United Way...he was always by your side standing so proud. We used to see him playing Keno in Mayfair Mall and sometimes I would see him at the Casino and he would say..."don't tell Claire!!!" We know he will be truly missed and we sincerley hope that as time passes you will have smiles instead of tears...rely on family and friends for support as they are there because they care and love you all.
Pam and Malcolm Verley.
