WHEATCROFT, Marjorie Marjorie passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 2, 2013. Predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Bard, and her son Ken, Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Linda (Randy) and Cheryl as well as her grandchildren, Justin, Melissa, Jarrod, Chelsea and Clayton and her sister, Jean. Born in Seaham Harbour Dawdon, England on November 8, 1920, Marjorie immigrated with her family to Nanaimo at age 7. Shortly after marrying Bard, they moved to Victoria where they raised their family. Bard and Marge enjoyed square dancing and made many lasting friendships with the people they met. They also enjoyed travelling and made several trips to Hawaii as well as other parts of the US. Marge was a very gentle, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family wish to thank Dr. Alan Cook and the wonderful staff of VGH 6A South for the care and support given to our Mother. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1803 Quadra St., Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
