AUSTIN, Wesley Frederick Wes was born April 4, 1920 and passed away peacefully at the Lodge at Broadmead, February 19, 2013. Predeceased by his first wife, Helen. Survived by their Children: Don (Shannon) Austin; Barb (Dave) Edwards; Nola (Phil) Freeman; Holly (Don) Woodard; Rob (Barb) Austin. Wes leaves behind his wife, Dolores (Del), and step-children: Perry (Kathy) Mason; Linda Mason; David Mason (Kim Poirier); Steven (Donna) Mason 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Dad was a WW2 Veteran (R.C.N.) He had a long R.C.M.P. career then another with Corrections Canada at William Head. Wes devoted his entire life to volunteer work. He was a lifetime member of the Westshore Lions Club and the Langford Legion. A memorial service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4725 Falaise drive on Friday March 22, 2013 at 2:00PM Flowers gratefully declined. Donations, if desired, may be made to Timmy's Telethon or the Lodge at Broadmead.
