NICOLSON, Dawn Sharon Passed peacefully on October 31, 2013 in Victoria. She was born on March 16, 1946 in Cadomin, Alberta. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Dru Nicolson and is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer and son-in-law, Paul Morgan. My Mom was a beautiful, compassionate, sensitive and fierce woman who always put her family first. She was a three time breast cancer survivor who counselled many other breast cancer patients. Mom had an infectious laugh and when she spoke to you, you always knew you had her full attention and that you were all that mattered in that moment. She was a legal assistant in Victoria for almost twenty years working in a legal firm and then for Judges of the Supreme Court of BC. She went on to open Fancyworks, a quilting and needlework shop and two locations of The Bee's Knees clothing stores. A Celebration of Life will be held in late Spring when the flowers are in bloom, as that was Mom's favourite time of year. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada at www.bcsc.ca. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.mccallbros.com
