Susannah, There are no words to describe the loss that I feel you will always remain my lovely sister and be in my heart forever. I will remember all the good times, fun times and sad times and how Mom Dad you and me used to have such good chats around the kitchen table after supper all the time. You were my B.C. sister but your home, heart and soul were in Quebec and you will be returned there as this was your wish I bid you adieu Love always Sister Sally and Dan

We are still in shock at Montreal City Mission at this sudden passing. Susannah chaired our board with passion, expertise and good humour. Her energy was boundless and her commitment unwavering. She was one of a kind! Our deepest sympathy to her family in B.C. and to her step children and grand-children in Montreal. Tu vas nous manquer Susannah.

Susannah was truly gifted at inspiring and guiding young entrepreneurs. At the University of Victoria, we were very fortunate to engage with a mentor so willing to share her tremendous experience and insight. Her approach was always caring and very professional. She will be missed.

I had the privilege of meeting Susannah professionally shortly after her move to Victoria. She obviously had a wonderful and ground-breaking career and was keen to pass on her knowledge and experience to others. She was a valued mentor to students at the University of Victoria; she will be missed.

I will always have fond memories of my "Best friend, " in Grade four and a true friend in High School. I was so happy that we could reconnect and so sorry that our time to visit and renew our friendship was so short.
