Dear Hazel, I am Cons first cousin Joan Furey Doyle. I unfortunately, had not seen Con for many years, and only recently found out he had died. He was close to my Father , David , who was his Fathers brother. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family, it brought back so many memories when I saw the photo gallery. ( he is very like my Father in looks). Please feel free to make contact, as I will leave my details on this page. [email protected] Sincerely Joan Furey Dublin

My ever-lasting memories of Con were his great big smile and brilliant humour. Whenever my Dad and himself got together you were sure to get a lot of laughs! He was a breath of fresh air. Condolences to you all and may he rest in peace.

Dear Mrs Furey and family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss of your wonderful husband. I remember Mr Fureys wonderful smile and laugh. He was a kind man and smiling every time I saw him. I have seen much of his qualities in Kim, the musical talent and humor that she has, and kindness towards people. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten. You are all in my prayers and may God watch over you all and comfort you at this difficult time. Sincerely Cindy

Hazel and family,

Please accept my profound condolences on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Con was truly a great man, loved and admired by most everyone that had the honour to meet or be associated with him in any way. He was a loving grandfather to our Kelty, and I will truly miss him. His strength and personality lives on in her, and in Tony, Kim, Karen, Brian, Kent and Adina. He was proud of all of you, and you of him. His soul lives on in his music. Whenever you hear it, you will hear a part of him. Per Ardua Ad Astra. He is surely conducting a choir of Angels now.
