Larry Richardson Obituary

Larry Dwight Richardson, age 66, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, April 10, 2011. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, with Eric Bell officiating.
Larry was a Colbert County native and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed with AT&T for 32 years and never missed a day. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Muscle Shoals.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Richardson, of Tuscumbia; stepson, Michael Schetrompf, of Kansas, and wife, DJ; his daughters, Waverly Rodriguez, of Germany, Michele Alcantar, of Texas; brother, Michael Lee Richardson, of Florida; nieces, Heather McCollister, of Muscle Shoals, Haley Davis, of Tuscumbia; nephew, Michael Richardson, of Washington; four grandchildren, Molly and Will Taylor, Abbey-Ray, Andrew Alcantar, all of Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Larry's name to Amedisys Hospice, 412 S. Court St., Suite 202, Florence, AL 35630.
Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
