Corrine Taylor, age 82, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010, in Florence, Ala.
She was born September 27, 1927, in Hodgenville, Ky.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in White City, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. G. Taylor; her parents, Everett and Rena Taylor; brothers, James Stingel Taylor, Stanley "Dink" Taylor and Everett "Buck"
Taylor.
She is survived by her sons, Dale (Betty) Taylor, of Florence, Ala., and Michael (Sarah) Taylor, of Williamsburg, Va.; four grandchildren, Jason Taylor, of Holly Springs, Miss., Benjamin Taylor, of Brandon, Miss., Anya (Abran) Shaffer, of Richmond, Va., and Zachary Taylor, of Florence, Ala.; a sister, Bonnie Hurt, of Hodgenville, Ky.; two sisters-in-law, Rose Taylor, of Tampa, Fla., and Pauline Taylor, of Magnolia, Ky., and a host of nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with the Rev. Andrew Singh officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family would like to especially thank the friends and staff of Columbia Cottage and to Amedisys Hospice of Florence, Ala., who provided loving care for Mrs.
Taylor.
