James K. Hatchett

James Keith Hatchett, age 37, of Lutts, Tenn., died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013. The visitation will be Saturday Feb. 9 from 6-9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Sunday Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brothers Larry Burbank and Wayne Wood officiating. Interment will be in Centneary Cemetery.

He was a member of The Church on the Rock and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a loving and devoted father, son and brother. "We love you. You will be dearly missed and never forgotten."

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Keith Hatchett; and grandparents, Charles and Marie Hatchett and Clarence and Earline Fielder.

Survivors include his long time girlfriend, Susan Abernathy and his unborn child; mother, Charlene Hatchett; daughters, Keeley Madison Hatchett, Brooklyn Paige Flemming and Haylee Rashel Landrum; brothers, Stacy Allen Dodd, Scotty Aaron Dodd and Bryan Keith Hatchett; sisters, Paula Annette Hatchett Darby, Katina Marie Hatchett Smith and Kendra Nicole Hatchett Crider; granddaughters, Jada Morris and Auria Southern.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Dodd, Kevin Smith, Brady Burbank, James Hinton, Shannon Green and Bradley Sharp.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Fielder, Bobby White and Johnny White.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
