Lillie Beatrice Shelton Crawley transitioned from an earthly angel into God's kingdom as a heavenly angel on March 11, 2014. She was born on July 7, 1934, to Oscar C. Shelton and Mattie Pride Shelton.
Lillie confessed her faith in Christ at an early age at New Bethel A.M.E. Church and later joined Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church where she did various Godly duties. Continuing to do the work of the Lord, she joined Mt. Olive M.B. Church where she served on the Mother's Board.
Lillie was a graduate of Sterling High School where she was named class valedictorian. She found her career at Colbert County Head Start where she served for 30 years and touched many little lives along the way.

Awaiting her arrival to the gates of heaven are her parents; her husband, Willie James Crawley; her brothers, Thomas and George Shelton; her sisters, Mary Hill and Bessie Grant; and her son-in-law, James Burt Jr.
